According to MSN Money (Sept. 2005), not counting Higher Education, which can mount to $150,000, and not counting private schools and hospital bills, a child costs $135K ($40K/year, income) ; $185K($40-70K/year income); and $270K (70K+/year, income). Children 15-17 years old are more expensive. Expensive? Mamma
